Where any bespoke product is to be made to your dimensions or design, you must give written approval for any final dimensions and designs before we are obliged to start production, and you are responsible for ensuring that the dimensions and designs are fit for your purposes.

The images of the Products on our site are for illustrative purposes only. Although we have made every effort to display the colours accurately, we cannot guarantee that your computer's display of the colours accurately reflect the colour of the Products. Your Products may vary slightly from those images.
We use reasonable efforts to make our products as accurately as possible, however measurements are approximate, and your products may not precisely conform to any measurements provided. Fabric batches may vary. The majority of our fabrics are yarn dyed which means there can be a shade variation between batches. We endeavour to make the whole of your order using material from the same batch; however, we cannot guarantee that all the products in your order will precisely match or that subsequent orders for products with the same type of fabric will match any previous orders for products with that type of fabric.
The details and designs of our Products are changeable and subject to availability of fabric, and we reserve the right to change the specification of our Products without prior notice in relation to future sales. You should check our website for details. We will endeavour to match the colour and texture of the fabric of your Product to the samples chosen as accurately as possible, but variations in both the colour and texture may occur. The measurements of all Products provided are as accurate as possible, but some slight variances may apply. Any of the third party warranties to be procured by us, will correspond to the essential characteristics, description and specifications set out in our website and in your order at the time when you submitted your order.
Although we have made every effort to be as accurate as possible, as the buyer you take ownership that you have sufficiently asked enough questions, measured up, asked for samples and if possible visit our showroom to see a display piece of furniture. As the seller we take the obligation to share as much information as possible, honestly and openly.
Stripes, checks and patterns
Stripe, check and pattern fabrics may not be cut and upholstered as shown on the website, as each product is individually made for you by our upholsterers.
Fading and discolouration
You agree that the products will be subject to such fading or discolouration due to exposure to direct or indirect sunlight as is normally to be expected for products of this type in the industry. We cannot accept any responsibility for fading or discolouration due to exposure or contact with any chemicals sprayed nearby or applied directly.
Availability and delivery dates
We will endeavour to fulfil your order within the estimated time periods stated above unless there are exceptional circumstances. Occasionally a delivery date may be postponed. This may occur for various reasons for example material shortages or higher than anticipated demand for a Product. We will keep you informed if a postponement is necessary and discuss revised timescales with you. We are not liable for any charges you may incur due to delayed or cancelled deliveries.
We only deliver on the days and within the times provided by our couriers. When your products are ready our carrier will contact you to arrange the specific delivery date and time window with you. Once you have agreed a specific date and time for delivery, you must strictly adhere to this and ensure that you are available to take delivery at that date and time. Failure to adhere to these timings will ensue in a delay in delivery.
If you provide us with a full postal address we will get back to you with an accurate delivery quotation as soon as possible. For bespoke seating orders please allow up to 6-8 weeks from the date of your order to arrive except at Christmas and New Year when deliveries might take longer or in the case of a fabric production delay. We endeavour to dispatch all items as soon as possible from your payment being received and authorised.
For furniture and other fragile items we recommend using a courier local to you, as this will be the most cost effective form of shipping. You are welcome to source your own delivery firm or we are more than happy to help source a suitable and competitively priced courier firm as soon as your order has been accepted, and payment has been received and authorised.
Your order is important to us and we will always keep you informed of any unforeseen delays.
Products will only be taken to a room of your choice subject to a satisfactory health and safety assessment by our delivery carriers. If the Products cannot be safely put into position, our drivers will offer to leave the Products in a place that is acceptable to you. Our delivery carriers are not responsible for dismantling furniture that you may already have in your room or for cleaning the room after furniture has been installed.
To the fullest extent permitted by law we shall not be liable to you for any accidental damage to your property or person resulting from delivery of our Products.
Refunds and returns
In regard to our handcrafted seating, each of these products are made to order to your personal specifications, therefore we do not offer refunds or returns, unless the product is faulty or it is damaged in transit by us.
NAPOLEON ROCKEFELLER aims to always provide high quality Goods that are fault free and undamaged, however on occasion goods may need to be returned or replaced. In the rare event of a faulty product arriving, the onus is on us to fix any issue wherever possible, at our own cost, and if this is not possible then arrange for the faulty item to be returned at our first possible convenience.
Please ensure you thoroughly check your items for any visible damage at the point of delivery. Once goods are accepted from the courier, no responsibility can be taken by NAPOLEON ROCKEFELLER for any loss or damage whatsoever. In the unusual event that your item arrives damaged, please do not accept the delivery and call us at once to advise us if damage has been found, so that we can arrange a replacement or refund. After this time, we will not accept responsibility for any damage reported, given the possibility that damage may have occurred after products have been delivered.
The onus is on you the Customer to make sure that the measurements and the fabric will fit and indeed suit your interior space. If you have any queries about dimensions please feel free to email or call us BEFORE you order a chair, we are more than happy to help in any way we can. We would always advise customers to visit our bricks and mortar shop in SW20 8JX whenever possible, or if in doubt about a particular fabric, request sample swatches. Unfortunately, being a small family run shop we simply do not have the space to store returned goods that have been returned simply because a customer has misjudged their dimensions or fabric choices.
If you wish to cancel an order you may do so by emailing us at as soon as possible. In the case of posted/couriered items this must be within 4 hours, as they are likely to be dispatched the following day.
In the event that you cancel an order, you will be responsible for all the costs incurred by the Seller up to the point of cancellation.*
*It is not possible to cancel an order once it has been dispatched or in the case of a handcrafted seating product, once upholstery has begun. All our hand-crafted seating items are made to order to your own specifications and once the chair has already been made it is not possible to cancel your order.
