Tara, historically known as the seat of kings in Ireland during neolithic times or later known as ‘Queen’, is a fitting name for this lovely striped lounge chair.

Made in England, this high quality upholstered chair features stylish grey and white stripes, an interior trend that simply refuses to go out of fashion. According to the interior style gurus, stripes have the power to reshape a room with little effort and one of the best things about stripes is that they’re very versatile, making a room elegant, bold and classic.

Pictured here with longer traditional mahogany coloured legs*, our Tara armchair is handcrafted to your specifications, so if you prefer  different coloured leg simply choose from our wide range of finishes (see picture) or contact us to discuss your preferred colour. We offer castors in gold, silver or if you wish we can make your chair without.

*Please note that because our chairs are all bespoke made to order pieces, we can make a chair with longer legs as shown in the photo for an additional £50 to the listed price. The large chair comes with longer legs (unless specifically requested that you wish for shorted legs – which is possible!), but the standard and medium comes with the shorter leg. If in doubt, please contact us before ordering!

About This Fabric:

This fabric is a brushed cotton linen mix, which is a ‘slubbed’ fabric*, so there may be textural differences that are not noticeable in our photos- though we try to capture as true a representation as possible.

*A slubbed fabric is created with slight knots and knobbles, which can be seen as thicker, raised threads on the fabric surface.  These ‘imperfections’ are either a characteristic of the yarn (particularly natural fibres), or created purposely with the intention of giving the fabric an organic, tactile look and feel.
