Byron Grey Chaise Longue
Meet our Byron chaise longue, which, like it’s namesake the famous 19th century British poet Lord Byron, is impossibly charismatic and dreamy to behold.
In 19th century Europe men and women alike threw themselves at Byron. His poetry was memorised and quoted and recited. His blatant, unashamed sexuality was both scorned and admired. In other words, he was an instant super star. One of his lovers, Lady Caroline Lamb even spread the phrase that Byron was, “Mad, bad, and dangerous to know.”
But we digress…back to our Byron grey chaise longue! Our high quality upholstered chaise has been upholstered in exquisite British designed cotton brushed linen fabric, from the interior design classic, Romo Linara. Featuring stylish buttoning, elegantly turned legs and a cute matching bolster, this gorgeous grey chaise would suit both modern and traditional interiors alike.
Pictured here with a right handed backrest, legs in natural ash and gold castors, this lovely bespoke chaise is handcrafted to your specifications, so if you prefer the backrest to be on the opposite side to that pictured simply let us know. Or, if you prefer a different Romo colour or different coloured leg simply choose from our wide range of finishes (see photograph gallery) or contact us to discuss your preferred colour. We offer castors in gold, silver or if you wish we can make your chaise without.
Designed with the modern home in mind, we offer a range of chaises which are smaller in size than the average antique version, making it much more of a versatile piece to fit in any interior space. Or if you are lucky enough to have a spacious interior to allow for a larger model, we can make a traditional sized large chaise too.
We can also make a chaise with longer legs for an additional £50.

NB: Please note that we DO NOT offer refunds / returns on any of our handcrafted seating range as these items are all made to order. The onus is on the customer to make sure that the measurements and the fabric will fit and indeed suit your interior space. If you have any queries about dimensions please feel free to email or call us BEFORE you order a chair, we are more than happy to help in any way we can. Being a small family run shop we simply do not have the space to store returned goods that have been returned simply because a customer has misjudged their dimensions or fabric choices.
