Meet our Byron grey armchair, which, like it’s namesake the famous 19th century British poet Lord Byron, is impossibly charismatic and dreamy to behold.
In 19th century Europe men and women alike threw themselves at Byron. His poetry was memorised and quoted and recited. His blatant, unashamed sexuality was both scorned and admired. In other words, he was an instant super star. One of his lovers, Lady Caroline Lamb even spread the phrase that Byron was, “Mad, bad, and dangerous to know.”
But we digress…back to our Byron grey lounge chair! Our high quality upholstered chair has been upholstered in exquisite British designed cotton brushed linen fabric, from the interior design classic, Romo Linara. Featuring stylish buttoning, elegantly turned legs and a complimentary coloured grey trim, this gorgeous grey armchair would suit both modern and traditional interiors alike.
Pictured here in medium size with long legs in natural ash and gold castors, this lovely chair is handcrafted to your specifications, so if you prefer a different Romo colour or different coloured leg simply choose from our wide range of finishes (see photograph gallery) or contact us to discuss your preferred colour. We offer castors in gold, silver or if you wish we can make your armchair without.

Unfortunately we have to charge separately for shipping as we are a small concern, rather than a company that mass produces furniture – we do not profit from delivery charges. Please contact us directly with your postcode for an accurate quote. We will always endeavour to get the best price for you from trustworthy couriers who offer insurance in the event of a mishap in transit. The most cost effective delivery option for mainland U.K is a courier firm local to you. Alternatively you are welcome to arrange your own collection from our showroom in SW20 8JX, Wimbledon.
We do not currently offer international shipping (but are happy to work with any company that you yourself arrange).
NB: Please note that we DO NOT offer refunds / returns on any of our handcrafted seating range as these items are all made to order. The onus is on the customer to make sure that the measurements and the fabric will fit and indeed suit your interior space. If you have any queries about dimensions please feel free to email or call us BEFORE you order a chair, we are more than happy to help in any way we can. Being a small family run shop we simply do not have the space to store returned goods that have been returned simply because a customer has misjudged their dimensions or fabric choices.
