The term Armoire originates from 16th century France, from the word armoire  – taken from Latin armarium chest, which would originally have been used to store weapons, hence the large size of these wardrobes.

This Armoire has the added bonus of coming completely apart, making transportation a breeze – the whole cupboard can be flat packed.
