Tara, historically known as the seat of kings in Ireland during neolithic times or later known as ‘Queen’, is a fitting name for this lovely striped chaise. With its attractive grey neutral palette this lovely chaise longue would suit both traditional and modern interiors. Made in England, this high quality upholstered chaise features stylish deep buttoning and a cute matching bolster.
Pictured here with a left handed backrest and traditional mahogany coloured legs, this lovely bespoke chaise is handcrafted to your specifications, so if you prefer the backrest to be on the opposite side to that pictured simply let us know. Or, if you prefer different coloured leg simply choose from our wide range of finishes (see picture) or contact us to discuss your preferred colour. We offer castors in gold, silver or if you wish we can make your chaise without.
Designed with the modern home in mind, we offer a range of chaises which are smaller in size than the average antique version, making it much more of a versatile piece to fit in any interior space. Or if you are lucky enough to have a spacious interior to allow for a larger model, we can make a traditional sized large chaise too.
About This Fabric:
This fabric is a brushed cotton linen mix, which is a ‘slubbed’ fabric*, so there may be textural differences that are not noticeable in our photos- though we try to capture as true a representation as possible.
*A slubbed fabric is created with slight knots and knobbles, which can be seen as thicker, raised threads on the fabric surface. These ‘imperfections’ are either a characteristic of the yarn (particularly natural fibres), or created purposely with the intention of giving the fabric an organic, tactile look and feel.
